If you want to sell a product online, you need to drive traffic to that product.
So here’s the question:
“How do I get customers to find my store?”
There are a lot of answers for this…but as far as I know, the best sources of traffic— for dropshipping stores—are these 4:
SEO.
Google Adwords.
Facebook Ads.
All of these traffic sources are good.
…but, unlike SEO, the problem with the other 3 is that they require more capital and a consistent investment of time.
If you’re like me and you’d rather save a lot of time in the long run—so you could concentrate on the other, bigger parts of your business—then getting an SEO App is a must-have.
Getting a good return on your investment should be the number one focus of any marketing campaign you run.
The more QUALITY traffic your website gets means the more money you would make. So if you can do this without investing a lot of time and cash in the long run, then by all means, do that.
So why SEO?
Because if you rank well in Google (you’re on the first page), there would be more people clicking on your site.
The best part?
Those people who click on your site from Google are already interested in what you’re offering – quality traffic – which means they’re already more likely to buy from you.
Why would they be searching Google in the first place, right?
I’d rather have people, who already want my products, come to my store than spend a lot of cash on ads without the guarantee of having a good ROI.
If you think that’s right, then let me show you…
Now, if you’re in this article, you’re probably not a beginner and you probably know what SEO is already . . .
BUT for those who don’t, here’s a short description of what SEO is:
“SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the optimization of your website design and copy to make it rank in the search engine results.
Let’s get right to it.
This is my favorite Shopify SEO app. It’s easy to use and it will save you a lot of time. It covers almost all of the SEO functions you need to drive relevant traffic to your store.
Here are the 3 main reasons why I absolutely recommend this app:
This is the most downloaded SEO app for Shopify.
With over 1450 reviews, it has proven to be really effective. A lot of people trust it (I do), people have been using it for some time now, and the good outweighs any bad you can see on the reviews.
People have been raving about this.
SEO Meta Manager has the best customer service amongst the three I will discuss here. They’ll help you install the code to your website, happily answer your questions, and are super helpful when you have problems.
The best thing about them is they really try their best to provide exceptional support.
They have video tutorials, written guides, and a Google search result simulator. They’ll teach you a step-by-step process of how to set things up. Plus, you get to see exactly what your listings will look like once Google updates them.

I highly recommend this app.
I believe this is such a steal, this costs only $20/month, with a 7-day free trial and it offers so many things already.
In my biased opinion, this is all you need.
However, for alternative resources, I will also share the 2nd and 3rd best SEO Shopify apps later.
This Shopify SEO app helps you do an in-depth keyword research directly within Shopify.
This app helps you determine the terms people use when they’re looking for the products you sell.
Reload SEO also comes with a live “content grader” that gives an analysis of your store’s existing content and suggestions for increasing its visibility with search engines.
If your goal is to primarily achieve better rankings with your content e.g. articles, blog posts, product info etc., then this is for you.
For me, the only bad thing about Reload SEO is that their customer service isn’t as good as SEO Meta Manager.
This costs you $14.95/month, with a 14-day free trial.
This app is really good in a sense that it gives a lot of benefits at a very cheap price (if you compare all three).
While Shopify itself only allows you to edit default titles and descriptions from your admin panel, Ultra SEO gives you absolute control over every single meta tag in your shop.
This means you can easily edit everything on your store—Keywords, author tags, descriptions, titles—you name it. Also, unlike other apps, Ultra SEO comes with one-click installation. You don’t need to fiddle around with HMTL coding to use the app.
So if you’re someone who likes to regularly add or update words in your store, then this is definitely for you.
SEO Ultra is super easy to use. For only $10 a month, It already offers a 7-day free trial and provides a user-friendly design making it a Shopify app worth trying.
Apps only provide a boost for what’s already working.
They’re not the most important thing when building a successful dropshipping store.
If you didn’t invest enough time to choose your niche well or didn’t do enough research have the best product to dropship, then you’re still most likely going to fail.
It’s harsh, but it’s the truth.
Nobody will buy a crappy product.
So even with the best apps, the best traffic sources and the best agencies out there, without the fundamentals, your store will fail.
