High Engagement, Low Sales?

high engagement low sales

People email me all the time saying, “I’ve got really high engagement but low sales” and this can mean a few things. First of all, it can mean you’re getting traffic but they’re not converting or it can mean you’re getting likes, you’re getting comments, you’re getting shares but you’re not getting any traffic or […]

Breaking Even to Build Pixel data + LLA

building pixel data plus lookalike audience

Should you try to just break-even and build pixel data and the lookalike audience? Well, first of all, after I congratulate you on thinking long-term if you are asking me this question, that’s a very good thing. There are a few potential problems. First of all, Facebook pixel data is very useful, but don’t mystify […]

High Ticket Products vs Low-Ticket Products?

So, there are popular dropshipping experts, gurus, that talk about high-ticket items being the best. Well, I don’t think they are. For me, low-ticket items specifically Free + Shipping have been best. I am very honest and clear about that but of course, both can work. So, I think the low-ticket items are easier to […]

Are your best selling products your most inexpensive products sold on your site?

Not necessarily. It is a bit of a misconception that higher ticket items always have a higher profit margin. Higher ticket items will generally cost you more in ad spend per purchase. You’ll also rarely be able to 5x the Aliexpress price like you can with cheaper items.

How Much Money Do You Need to Start a Dropshipping Store?

My recommendation is to start with no less than $500-$1000. You need to buy traffic to learn. If you’re losing money at first like most people do, then you’ll get better and better and better and closer and closer and closer to breaking even. And eventually, you’ll have that first product that just takes off […]

To create a lookalike audience in FB ads do you have to have 100 sales from customers in 1 country? I’ve reached 100 sales (not all from US) but when I try to create an audience it says my sample size is too small. Anyone with any knowledge on this?

I used to export abandoned carts from Shopify and use that. I believe that option is no longer possible (or not as effective anymore). You can create a custom audience based on the actions people took that were recorded on your pixel. You’ll then create an LLA based on the original audience

How to Handle Customer Support

So the number 1 rule, I picked this up from a form once and I’m stuck with it. Apologize a lot. Apologize for everything even if it is not your fault. If the product gets stuck at the customer, apologize for it. Whatever happens, just apologize. It won’t solve a problem but it will, it’s […]

Negative Comments on Social Media?

So if you get negative comments on social media, there are two different situations… The first one is on your posts or on your ads. I would say on your ads, delete anything. If there are negative comments on your ads and you’re still running them, then delete them. If there are negative comments on […]
