I would look for emotional appeal.
So, you’ll want to have a niche that people are emotional about it, they cared deeply about it, it’s a passion of a broad audience.
You also need to have an ability to target those people.
One of the best ways to find or to evaluate whether a niche is a good idea is to go on Instagram, look for pages.
So, have a quick look for Instagram influencer pages to see whether if they even exist in your niche.
Some niches, you won’t find Instagram pages and in my opinion, the answer then is not Facebook necessarily but rather to choose a different niche in the first place.
Alternatively, if you’re a Facebook ads guy, you should look for targeting options inside Facebook ads.
So, some niches have far more options in terms of which pages you can target, what magazines you’ll be having etc.
You’ll also need to have a few products, of course, so you want 5-10 cool products I say, to start with and you would want a few products that are suitable for Free + Shipping offers or even just if you’re doing a 50% discount to price amount of $10 or so.
You’ll want a few cheap entries, low ticket products to build your lookalike audience and get the ball rolling.
Competition is not the criteria when looking for a niche.
In fact, it’s better to have a niche with some competition.
If there’s no competition at all, well, probably there’s a reason for that and that’s because everyone else who tried has failed and the niche is probably one of the large reasons for that.
So it’s not like SEO where you’re trying to find them in the top niche.
